  • Assisting and helping the hostel wardens in discharging their duties
  • Planning various sports and cultural activities
  • Organising the hostel committee meeting in consultation with the wardens
  • Up-keep of the Hostel facilities and Premises
  • Arranging soft-skills, communication skills and group discussion development activities internally

Cultural Secretary

  • Organising various social, cultural and other activities in the Hostel
  • Conducting cultural competitions
  • Encouraging the hostel students to practice and participate in all the activities

Sports Secretary

  • Up-keeping and maintenance of gymnasium and other sports facilities
  • Arranging and encouraging the students to participate in different sports and games
  • Organising sports and games competitions for the benefit of hostel students

Guardian Details
Always lock your door, even when leaving for brief periods of time.
Use the iron boxes kept in the common places.
Keep your cash, ATM card, laptops, mobile phones, and other valuables locked up safely.
Enter your complete details in the register while leaving the hostel for more than one day.
Follow the Students code of conduct and contact the warden/ security officer in case of any problem.
Adhere to the timings of the hostel and mess.
Maintain order and discipline in the hostels.
Turn off the electrical switches and water taps when not in use.
Display your identity card when the hostel staff asks for it.
Hostel residents are required to treat staff members with respect and courtesy.
Adhere to the rules outlined in the hostel's rule book.
Co-operate with the Hostel/ Mess Authorities.
Cooking in the hostel rooms is prohibited.
Keeping Pets in the hostel premises is not allowed.
Don’t damage the hostel property.
Don’t act in a way that offends the local culture, social values, local sensibilities and rules of the land.
Don’t light the lamps/candles or burn/burst the crackers in and around hostel premises.
Don’t waste water and electricity.
Don’t write on the wall/ furniture or paste any kind of posters in the rooms.
Don’t engage in any of the following activities while in the college campus or hostel: smoking, drinking, using tobacco, or playing cards.
Avoid taking away the utensils from the mess.
Non-residents are not permitted to stay-in or use the room.
Avoid arranging any group religious/ political activities or convene meetings.
Don’t Litter in the college premises.
Don’t go to the terrace or jump the compound walls.
Don’t use iron boxes/ boiler immersion coils, etc.
Don’t violate the Hostel rules.

Ragging Free Campus

"Don't rag, Don't be a witness to ragging."

What is Ragging?

Any Act resulting in:

  • Mental / Physical / Sexual Abuse
  • Verbal Abuse
  • Indecent Behavior
  • Criminal Intimidation / Wrongful restraint
  • Undermining Human Dignity
  • Financial Exploitation / Extortion
  • Use of Force

Each of the above is a Criminal Offence.

A Student indulging in ragging can be:

  • Expelled from the Institution
  • Banned from the Hostel/Mess premises
  • Scholarship given can be withdrawn
  • Debarred from Examinations
  • Denied admissions to any Institutions
  • Prosecuted for Criminal Actions

Institutions have been asked to file FIR with Local police against those who rag/abet ragging. Ragging in any form is Punishable. Let’s join hands to make our campus Ragging Free.
