The Department of Computer Applications offers the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme with the objective of producing skilled and industry-ready computing professionals. The department focuses on imparting strong theoretical foundations along with practical exposure in computer science and applications. It encourages innovation, problem-solving ability, ethical values, and lifelong learning to meet the evolving needs of the IT industry and society.
The department is supported by well-qualified faculty members, modern computer laboratories, and a learner-centric teaching–learning process. Emphasis is placed on hands-on training, project-based learning, internships, seminars, workshops, and industry interaction to enhance students’ employability and professional competence.
The BCA programme aims to:
